Dr Zoltán Tildy was the president of the office at that time, and he disposed in his decision, that this plan will be protected and its area will be nature conservation area. The „Volgamenti Hérics” was discovered by Zoltán Herknek in Csorvás, in 1935, and after Dr István Kiss, who was a professor of the Teacher-Training College, suggested the registry of Herics as a protected plan. Besides the Erdei Hérics, there are some protected areas which are called „Csorvási Löszgyep” and „ Mágocs Ér”. These are very important areas too, which are the parts of the Natural 2000 Area ( HUKM 2007 ).
